Have a bead party with friends

 

Well, it was just me, myself, and I...and any multiple personalities that I may have picked up along the way. I did have the usual Friday Movie night with my grandmother and mother, but they don't exactly get into the jewelry making. It would have been more of a class than a bead night.

For this necklace, I used black faux leather cord, Figura chain, 8mm Emerald glass bicone beads, 6mm Black AB Glass bicone beads, 4mm silver jump rings, silver closures, silver eye pins, and silver alligator clasp.

Learn a New Bead Weaving Technique

 

So, I learned today that bead weaving is not my strong suit. I tried several different patterns and came up with lots of tangled, knotted beads. Ick! So, I chose to submit my blue version of the already listed Katherine Ring. So, meet Blair. She is as weaved as I will probably get!

Create Jewelry for a Friend

 

I chose to use three tones of green to make a gorgeous St. Patrick's Day themed bracelet. This bracelet will be a free gift to the next customer to purchase from Black Willow Designs or Black Willow Soaps (even through Tophatter)!

30 Day Bead Challenge Day 2

Challenge: Simple Beaded Necklace or Bracelet

 

I chose to do a simple beaded bracelet. This bracelet is made with copper eye pins. Each pin is linked together. On each pin is two olive Czech glass beads and one emerald glass bicone bead held in place by copper crimp beads. All finished with a copper alligator clasp.
